Produce

We carry a variety of fruits and vegetables grown locally, from Prince Edward County up to Meaford and down to the Niagara Peninsula. Our continued goal is to establish more and more direct relationships with farmers to be able to buy straight from the source in season. To round out our roster we primarily go through 100km Foods, a distributor that has steadfastly linked local farms to the city.

Filling up our vintage deli fridge is a wide range of cheeses and cured meats primarily from Quebec and Ontario, with special items imported from some of our favourite producers around the world.  

Projects

Our favourite feature is our ever growing selection of in-house cured meats: chicken liver pâté, gravlax, pancetta, guanciale, bresaola, coppa — the list goes on!

We have an expanding list of pickles, preserves, ferments, and sauces that are made with the very same produce you pick off our shelves. Our goal here is to not only get as close to zero waste as possible, but open up opportunities for you to explore all the different ways something as simple as a cabbage or turnip or carrot can be used to add variety to your plate and pantry.
